4 Essential Steps To Clear Limiting Beliefs

Knowing how to clear your limiting beliefs is the key to manifesting what you desire.

Why? Because basically all the problems in your lives are caused by limiting beliefs. So if you want to get rid of a certain problem, you need to clear the corresponding belief. For example, let's say you want to be wealthy. However, there is also a little voice in your mind that says, making money is not easy, or, I am never going to make it. These limiting beliefs about money are going to hold you back and prevent you from realizing your desire to be wealthy.

Many of you have tried visualization, reciting positive affirmations, using a vision board, etc. After a while, you begin to question whether the Law of Attraction really works, because you have not seen the results you want to. The truth is, the Law of Attraction works. Under the LOA, our limiting beliefs attract relevant energies to manifest what you truly think. So in the last example, what you truly think is "I am not going to be wealthy", rather than "I want to be wealthy".

So let us talk about the 4 essential steps on how to clear limiting beliefs.

1. Be Aware
Our limiting beliefs are usually rooted in our mind when we were very young. We have established our belief system unconsciously, without giving much thoughts about them.

So it is crucial to be FULLY aware of what you think. If you pay attention to what you think, you will find that maybe 99% of your thoughts or beliefs are limiting and do not serve you. When you are fully aware of your thoughts, you are living in the NOW. The more you do this, the more you will discover that the negative effects of the limiting beliefs are starting to subside.

2. Identify
Once you become more aware of your thoughts, it is easier to identify them. Take some time each day to write down what you have found. You may also do this by asking yourself questions. For example, ask yourself "what do I really want to achieve?". When you answer to the questions, pay attention to the little voice in you. Does it say, "yeah, but that will be tough", or anything that is discouraging?

3. Take Inspired Action
Now that you have identified some of your limiting beliefs, you want to take action to clear them. In fact, if you have already taken action and achieved the above two steps, the taking action part will become much easier. You will tend to be drawn to methods, techniques, or programs that can help clear those limiting beliefs. Now you want to take action on them, whether it is visualization, meditation, energy healing, or whatever inspires you.

4. Let Go
When you have done all of the above, let go. Do not pay too much attention to the result and wait for something to happen. If you do, you are actually having another limiting belief in the form of skepticism. This is something that needs to be cleared itself. Trust that it will be done. Be grateful that it is done.

When you let go, you will find that your life is beginning to change in the way you want it to be. In time, you will see that your desires are achieved.

How To Release Unwanted Thoughts

Do you need to release unwanted thoughts that are running in your mind involuntarily? Have these thoughts become so uncontrollable that they make you feel restless and stressed out?

Do not be frustrated. There are a number of approaches to help you release them:

1. Accept

One of the most important things you can do is to first accept the unwanted thoughts. Do not be afraid of them. If you resist, or run away from them, you are actually giving them more attention and energy. The problem will only intensify.

In order to make the acceptance process easier, you have to study the nature of the mind. Understand that you are NOT what you think. You can change and direct your thinking. You are the thinker that is eternal, while thoughts come and go.

2. Observe

Observe or watch your thoughts in a detached way. That is, do not give any emotional response to them. Do not judge them. Do not label them as good or bad. Just watch them one by one.

Remember that you are the eternal thinker. As you do this, you are not feeding the thoughts with additional energy. If you persist in observing, they will gradually subside.

3. Replace

Whenever an unwanted thought surface, immediately replace them with a good one, or the opposite of it. For example, I love you, or I am worth it, etc.

By replacing the negativity with something positive, you are actually canceling out or neutralizing the negative energy within you. In time you will be filled with more positive energy which will keep the negativity away.

4. Be Grateful

Be grateful for the unwanted thoughts. Everything happens for a reason, and so do the negative thoughts. They appear as a result of your past experiences. May be there are some issues in your past that you have not resolved. Or maybe you have not paid enough attention to your own well being.

Whatever the reason might be, the negative thinking actually serves as an reminder for you to deal with a certain problem. Show gratitude to them, for they are here to help you. Tell them: thanks for letting me know. For you are the eternal thinker.

If you put the above approaches into practice, in time you will feel more positive and happier. You will find that you are able to release the unwanted thoughts and enjoy all the joy that Life has to offer.
